BIG, BRAVE, BOLD AND BEAUTIFUL

How do people see you? What do they say your character is? some people think you live in a good life and with all good times and great moments. A friend of mine once told me, she was mistaken from a princes and people most a times think her life is a walk at the park . Lets talk this walk.............. Maima was brought up in a remote village in the Eastern part of Africa. Her parents were farmers and what the earned basically was a hand to mouth earnings meaning she had to go for casual jobs during her school holidays  to avoid been chased home for school fees. Sh e hated that kind of life and when she joined high school through a bursary scholarship which she earned it, she studied extra hard for her to have a better future for her , her siblings and her parents. With all the hardships and challenges , she managed to go to campus where she won a scholarship to study in the States. She deserved it.  Well, someone posted oh his timeline "ulijua aje mko wengi?" This got me thinking are there remnants of faithful spouses left? Cheating and adultery has become so normal to people and it's not seen like a big deal whereby spouses come to an agreement of if you cheat, I cheat too! The Bible says "the power of tongue gives or death " and if I was to be asked I would get married as a second wife or a first wife where there will be a 2nd wife later. I would totally agree with him.   Meaning, this man is bringing in a second wife with a total agreement with the first wife and with concrete reasons for that. What will make this man cheat after having a second wife? If he ask for another one ...it's okay. I rather get insecure because of inheritance than sleepless nights without knowing where he is for if he is not with me he is with the  first or second wife.

As I sat on that chair drinking a hot cup of tea down the throat, unexpected happened! I have of late become a football game fan and only by the mention of it, my ears are alert to hear it all and perhaps yeah perhaps be part of the conversation.  What comes to your mind by the mention on "agriculture"? You might think of soil, water, crops, digging/ploughing, planting, harvesting, equipment used in agriculture e. t. c. By the mention of agriculture, my uncle raises his hands and says he better eat stones in the big city than going to the ' shamba'. I kind of understand him because in their days farming was all about getting tired during land preparation, ploughing, planting and harvesting but later on it could mount to low or no yields at all. Why do I say no yields at all! When crops were at their yielding stage there were animals especially monkeys who would eat this fruits of the crops and those "my uncle's"  who were to stop these animals  were busy complaining of hunger and  getting tired. I compare agricultural methods of farming to this days where technology has created great impact and seen today being fun as a farmer. SELF ESTEEM       Sometimes back when I was just a young girl in my primary school , I had big issues with self esteem. this would happen most times when boys and girls would laugh at me due to my body size. not only did my school mates laugh at me but also the outsiders. one day on my way to school a man called me out and asked me whether what I was wearing was a school uniform or my workplace uniform. He went a head and  used sexual language on me and asked whether he can drop me at my workplace.    This was my new beginning of self hate and more over loss of self esteem. I would refuse to go to school and lock myself in my room a whole day. Since my mother never understood me that time, she would shout at me and make our house help drag me to school when crying. I was so young I did not know how to open up to what was bothering me. I started getting sick, I would have headaches often and I would be in and out of  hospitals.    At ten years my breast were out , that's when I was
