Character

How do people see you? What do they say your character is? some people think you live in a good life and with all good times and great moments. A friend of mine once told me, she was mistaken from a princes and people most a times think her life is a walk at the park .

Lets talk this walk..............

Maima was brought up in a remote village in the Eastern part of Africa. Her parents were farmers and what the earned basically was a hand to mouth earnings meaning she had to go for casual jobs during her school holidays  to avoid been chased home for school fees. Sh e hated that kind of life and when she joined high school through a bursary scholarship which she earned it, she studied extra hard for her to have a better future for her , her siblings and her parents.

With all the hardships and challenges , she managed to go to campus where she won a scholarship to study in the States. She deserved it. She achieved her dreams and now she is the best lawyer her country and the rest of Africa has so far.

 

Maima now tells me that , most people aspire to be like her but if she gives her story no one wants to be part of what she went through, 

they say i am brave and i should be celebrated, they say i am bold when i hold the constitution in front of the president and tell him that cant be possible. they never know how shy i am when it comes to falling in love or how down to earth i am when my mother calls out my name. What do i mean ?  I am just a person like any other and i should not be praised. 

She is quite different I can tell . If i was her, i would be probably swinging my back with the biggest pride in the continent.
